It's starting to look like an army

I'm really good at starting my models but I have a hard time putting the finishing touches on them. I don't know if it's because details can be such a pain in the ass or if it's due to my chronic procrastination. Regardless of the reason, I had started painting my choir and my Crusader at the beginning of the grow league and I never ended up finishing them. They were about 80% complete but just not quite done. I decided that today was the day to get them out of the way before starting up on the next models. (Al 1 - procrastination 100000000)

What I did today

I woke up this morning feeling horrible so I called in sick and stayed home. I figured painting would be a nice way to relax and take things easy. After testing a 15 point army this Saturday against Jose and Max, I decided to paint the Testament of Menoth. I started first thing in the morning and finished it this evening due to the excessive amount of nose blowing . Although I'm not feeling much better I'm feeling good about my achievement for the day. I hope that you all like it.

Side project

A friend of mine gave me this miniature to paint for him when I first started painting. I've been putting it off since I'd rather paint my own (especially since my unpainted collection is growing at an exponential rate). Anyway, I figured I'd better paint it before I left for Cyprus next month. It gave me the opportunity to experiment with lighting and fire. I didn't spend too much time on it considering I have so many to paint for the grow league
Here's the result.
